Principal Investigator
I am an Assistant Professor (Sr Research) at Oregon State University. I am especially interested in how the microbiome may change during aging, how microbiomes associate with disease and health. Our ultimate goal is to engineer microbiomes to improve the human health condition as well as to mitigate chronic disease. I have a special interest in understanding how the human microbiome is shaped by our interaction with diet, animals and our environment.
